I recently got an Epson Stylus 777 from a housemate who moved out. He said the thing was broken as soon as he got it and didn't have the time to go return it. I plugged it in and tried it out. The print head makes this loud clicking noise and won't advance past a certain section of the printer, nowhere near where it needs to be to print to paper. The whole things sounds and acts buggy and broken, like a certain part under the print head is jammed or busted. I don't have any proof of purchase and no idea what to do. I know this is very general and not a lot of info to go on but if someone has had this problem and knows of a do-it-yourself solution that would be great. If anyone knows how I can get this thing fixed or replaced by Epson, that would help too. I didn't pay for it so I'm not losing anything but it would be a waste to toss this thing. Thanks to all.
