Messed up colours???

Hi,

I turned on my comp today to find out that the colours are all messed. Under the properties, under 32 bit, the colour scale only shows blue, yellow, and black. What could have caused this? I have a Radeon 9500 with the latest drivers (just updated them to see if that was the problem).

This is what I did.

I recently disconnected everything from my PC (monitor, sound, everything) was renovating my room. Anyways I reconnect everything back up and I turn on my PC to find that my colours are messed. If I go display properties --> settings and right under my 32 bit bar should be the bar with ALL the colours however mine only has blue black yellow and white. I've sent a picture to a friend and to him it looks fine which means either a graphics problem or a monitor.

I've tried reinstalling the drivers.
I've tried messing with my monitor settings.

One thing I did do is with those power air pumps I cleaned inside my machine and I believe that I got quite close to the graphics card, would that have an affect?

and the cable, Checked it, connected and pins are fine.

I would try reseating the card in its slot (with the power off, of course). Make sure if it has a power dongle to ensure it is also secure. I wouldn't think getting close with a vacuum or air would do anything, unless you bumped it and knocked something loose. If reseating the card and verifying the monitor is securely connected to the back of the card doesn't help, you may need to remove the card and inspect it for broken components.
