My fiance and I just got the majority of our Christmas to each other yesterday. 'Tis Nice!!

I really like it so far. The image stabilization rocks! :thumbsup:

Sh!t, I should have known there'd be vid requests. LOL We've only just started messin' around with it. There's maybe 3 minutes total on it. When he plugged it into the tv I thought I sounded really weird. I sounded like Alicia Silverstone or something. (I'm from California, go figure.) So I think I probably sound like her with the beginnings of a Southern drawl. (Living in Virginia. I also used to live in Southern states as a child, so I pick up the drawl much easier.) It's a big present to each other, but we don't really need a hell of a lot. I need clothes, but those can be gotten. I'm just happy we now own a kick-ass camcorder. :D

So I get up today and Tim's little brother (Ryan, he's 18) proudly showed me what they'd recorded earlier. His friend (Matt) was asleep on our couch. His girlfriend(Shae) was trying to wake Matt up. He was difficult to wake up, so Shae got on top of him and started humping him. THen Ryan and Shae start to make out while she's still on top of now-awake Matt. All this is wound up by a classy shot of his brother's hand up his girlfriend's shirt. *Shakes Head* Only in our family. lol

(They all spent the night last night and are coming over later to play poker with Tim.)

Haha No. I should just for sh!ts and giggles, but nah. :p

Lola - That was one thing that we wanted to be sure of was that we'd use it. I'm, though, the one that brings out the camera at all the gatherings, so I'm sure we'll use it. Plus his aunt and three cousins moved here from Australia for a year, so I'd like to get some of them while they're here. That and recording the birth of our kids will be nice...when we get around to that part of our lives. And those videos......are going no where. :D lol

I have in the past year or so. I guess it's just because I'm getting older and want to start recording important events. *Shrug* :) (Well, and not-so-important events as well.)

My sister used to have the same non-accent as I did, but after living in Alabama for about ten years, she's picked up a heavy southern accent. We went quite a while without talking (a few years) and when I did finally talk to her, I barely recognized her voice :p
We've got a pretty sweet older camcorder that we basically got as payment for letting someone live with us for a couple months. We never use it, but that's because I have to buy a new battery, even right when we pull it off the charger it says low batt, and being limited to a 10' range from an outlet sucks.
