I usually play CS:S and fps games, What would the difference be (performance wise) between the T5500, T5600, and T7200? This is for a laptop im putting together. I do know the graphics is important, and it will be a geforce 7600 256MB.
 
Also, I plan to use this laptop mostly for browsing and school work, so would there be a difference in power drain? I wouldnt think there would be a difference between the T5500 and T5600
 
Well the Merom is the best Laptop CPU period. In games Yonah and Merom arent too far appart. I would go for a Merom just because its more future proof. If you do get a Merom, get one with the 4MB L2. A Merom is basically a Conroe/Allandale with a 667MHz FSB. Next year sometime Intel is going to a 800MHz FSB.
