    bring back the cougar damnit (being a mustang with EB engines only and a less retro but better appointed interior)

    Just what the world needs, another budget model.

    The Cougar XR7 was sweet but the last gen Cougar was an utter travesty. Hideous piece of crap, it was. Going from a FR to a FF and a V6/V8 to a I4/V6 sullied the Cougar name. And it looked terrible. Did I mention it was ugly?

    Wasnt the last gen cougar designed as a female car? I remember something about how the seats were designed not to let a womans skirt roll up or something.

    Nobody goes to Mercury/Lincoln dealer for a budget car. I know that they have some Ford/Mercury/Lincoln dealers, but even then, Mercury has no identity for budget cars.
