Hi, set up mercury mail server on my cable connection. I set up an email account, and the problem is that i can check that account via any web-based email..but if i try to check it using Outlook or Eudora it says there isn't a POP3 server at my domain name..i checked all the spellings and such to see if i typed it in right and i did..but no luck? anybody else out there use mercury? the system i have the server installed on is:

Sygate Internet Sharing
Windows 2000 Advanced Server
Oh, and i was trying things out and so i installed it on my personal machine and hooked my cable modem straight up to it and everything worked fine..no problems with Outlook or anything, so is it because i'm behind this machine on the network or is it sygate..i'm just stabbing at possibilities here..somebody help me out please
and i can send to any email addresses i set up on my mail server fine through Outlook and Eudora, etc., but i can only receive via web mail
