OK case for $15ish if the rebate comes through, not worth $55ish if it doesn't.

Note from the rebate form:

No claims against "lost" documents will be evaluated unless accompanied by proof of mailing to
Kobian (i.e. certified or registered mail.).


Based on that statement on the rebate form, the fact that they are selling through TD, they are new to the US market, and it appears that Kobian is paying the rebates themselves I would stay FAR aware from this one. This is a recipe for rebate disaster...

Chance is that it will originally get "lost".

By keeping proofs, then you will have to call Kobian and get a fax number; then fax the copies of everything, rebate, UPC, sales slip and shipping proof. Adds more cost to the rebate. Items that arrive without USPS vaerication will be rerouted to the oops file. Others will have a coin flipped as to paying on time.

So why not send them by registered mail? Some rebates DON'T allow registered mail.
