Instead of scouring the web for a good and cheap place that can process CC transactions for me, can someone recommend one?

I'm particularly looking for something that has low or no transaction fee.

p.s. please do not mention the P word!

 
You are either going to pay a monthly fee or you are going to pay higher per-transaction costs. You need to figure out what way works out the best for the dollar value/volume of what you are selling.

Some good companies that I have used in the past: 2Checkout and Authorize.Net
