Mercernaries 2 Demo up on Live

I wasn't sure about whether to post this or not because it was falsely claimed to be up last Friday. It isn't up on Major Nelson's page but several game sites from X3F to Shacknews are saying it is up on Live now.

Suckers could have saved me $8! Oh well, at least with a rental I can play more than a demo. So far... I think the scores it has gotten are pretty accurate. The controls don't feel perfect. I haven't gotten too far in, but it kind of feels like Just Cause, but not as good. I expect more variety in missions in Mercenaries 2 than in Just Cause. There's only so many times I can take over the same damn village or meet with the same damn corrupt army officer.

The driving controls bug me... WTF @ using face buttons for gas/brake. Yeah there are weapons on some vehicles, but I'd still rather use the triggers to drive.

Just Cause 2, now that's a game that could be pretty sweet if they focus on improving the areas where Just Cause was lacking.

Yes there is but it's probably just as crappy and I've heard it's a very bad console port to the point it doesn't even support 16:10 resolutions, don't know if it's true though.

i meant pc demo. i can't find one anywhere.
