its funny though you capitalize atheist

If you are going to pick on someone for that you better get your sh!t together before you do. Otherwise it makes you look like a hypocrite. Good work. Either way it makes you a POS low life that has nothing to do but flame someone for spelling/grammar mistakes on the Internet. Big no-no little boys and girls.

wow, way to miss the point dumbass

his capitalization of "atheist" made me wonder if his belief in atheism would mirror someone's belief in say Buddhism, or Christianity, or Islam

i guess your parents failed homeschooling you in reading comprehension and analysis

You chastise me for daring to call you on nit picking someone's spelling/grammar on the Internet because you didn't explain yourself clearly enough in your post then call the person who calls you on it a failure in reading comprehension?

Priceless.

I don't exist on this world to ask 20 questions of everyone who can't properly express themselves on a forum and probe to see which part of their post might have meant something else entirely. People flame others for spelling/grammar daily here. I catch maybe 1 or 2 people a month doing it and I tend to eviscerate them for being a childish POS who can only stoop to the lowest form of flaming, which is spelling/grammar. Meaning they ran out of debate ammo and are left with the most basic form of flames.

Yours seemed quite clear cut flaming someone for spelling/grammar. That you meant it to mean something else I can't help you with that. All I can suggest is next time try to type what you actually mean so it leaves less chance of it possibly meaning other things. I know you can't see it reading your own words but that's why there's more than one person on a forum to ensure that you are informed. Shocking I know. Happens to everyone but you take the cake for being the most stuck up, arrogant low life on the forum this week.

Congrats.

Look at the bright side. Nobody will care by Monday morning that you made some errors and threw a tantrum afterwards to throw off responsibility.

I guess reading wasn't your strong suit in pre-school? Maybe later? I will take a guess and say no.

See what you are doing is called a strawman. Since I don't conform to your idea of what I should be you try to make me out to be something I'm not even close to in idealism or action.

Thank you for proving me right once again that you are a POS childish low life that cannot debate but can stoop to the lowest form of flaming since that's all they are able to do to try to save face.

Grats?

I mean really, when you made me out to be "something I'm not even close to in idealism or action," a spelling/grammer nazi (thats the term right), and proceeded to "eviscerate" (HAHA) that quite "priceless."

I bet you'll be tickled sh1tless to learn I agree with you on the sp/gram nazism.

So which is it, Aelius, homeschooled or dedicated xian?

out of everyone here including datalink who I was responding to, you are the only one deluded enough to see my post as such

if you're just going around looking for this fight to one-up yourself from the "POS childish lowlife" as you call them, maybe my portrayal of you isn't far off

I think there is a correlation between homeschooling and how nutty the parents/kids will be.... but it's not a cause and effect, and like i said, a correlation. If they were homeschooled because of a lack of school nearby, overcrowding, then it's understandable... but if the parents homeschooled because they believe the system is evil, will corrupt their child, etc, then the parents are nuts, and will probably pass that to their children.

The more nutty parents could be more controlling, and not allow the kids to interact with other kids... this could of course lead to social retardation. Or the parents could be teaching the kids some wacky ideas.

Hey arsebanned. Nice of you to stop in and add nothing. I'm done with the mirror - your turn.

Hardcore: I suggest you do some research on the merits of homeschooling, and the wide variety of social activities available to homeshcool co-ops. You are way off base.

I homeschooled my daughter, but a lot of homeschool parents have that "Oh, blessed Jesus" look in their eyes. I never knew if they thought the rapture was coming down in 5 minutes or they'd forgotten to take their meds. We went to a lot of the conventions early on and I'd say a small percentage of those people are completely whacked and many are just deluded. Andrea Yates mental illness probably dovetailed nicely with homeschooling, but I doubt there is anything more than a loose correlation between the two. The public schools, in terms of sheer numbers, deal with many more mentally disturbed parents and students.

The reason homeschoolers do so much better on standardized testing is because the kids have a one on one tutor. They aren't competing for the attention of the teacher with 40 other kids. Maybe smaller classes in public schools would be a good idea? (Oops, no that couldn't be true, and sorry for bringing it up.)

Andrea Yates wasn't getting the medication she should have been getting. Her husband is about as dumb as they come. How could he let his wife get to that state? Texas should execute the HUSBAND.

smaller classes in public schools would be nice, but also more parent involvement, imo. ultimately, it is the parents who are responsible for their children's education.
