Mentadent Tooth Whitening System $5 (reg $19.99) @ CVS

If you people have yellow teeth, you know what to do. Was trying to purchase toothpaste then I noticed a big 75% off sign for this item. Its really nice with the mouth piece and everything. I think its better than those nite effects or paint on gel whiteners. Going to try them out ASAP.

I finished up a treatment with the Mentadent System about a month ago, and was a little disappointed with the results. I'm using Crest WhiteStrips now, and they seem to whiten a little better. WhiteStrips kinda suck, though, because they only cover the front teeth and don't "wrap around" enough. I've been considering buying another tray system (like the Mentadent, for example), and using WhiteStrips in the morning and the tray in the evening.

I would probably spend $5 for the Mentadent.

whoa.... thats far... .yeah and something about the Mentadent, after using it tonite, I have one con about this system. When the mouthguards are on and you have to leave them on for 10-15 minutes, that saliva gonna accumulate.. and if you dont have tissues, you will feel so stupid in front of your roommates.... hahaha well i have roommates and they were haing a field day with my 'cool a$$' mouth guards.... but if it does its job, im all for it. 5 bucks, you cant go wrong

I suggest you all grab 22% carbamide peroxide from ebay. THat's professional strength (Dentist's office strength) and will whiten MUCH MUCH faster than the crap they sell in CVS/Duane Reede/Rite-Aid/etc....

Not sure of the sarcasm quotient here, but 22% is nonthreatening. It's in a gel form which is applied to the teeth. If you want to see something funny, look of the MSDS of the ingredients in basic household items. Don't lose perspective. sheesh.

Anyone going to the Greater New York Meeting for Dentists? They give tons of free crap. As for the whitening systems, don't overuse it or you will get hypersensitivity due to pulp.
