Men's Health Urbanathlon - anyone going?

Three buddies of mine drove all the way from NY to Chicago to attend the Urbanathlon last year and from what I've heard it was awesome.

I was wondering if anyone on AT would be interested in forming a caravan to this test of strength, endurance, and balls.

One more thing....training tips for such an event? 😀

Hah wow. From the pictures it looks like it's gotten more and more competitive.

Nope. Locally there was (at the zoo I think) a similar event that combined a mile run with various other tasks including strength and I know that one of the crossfit clubs went do it.

i saw this men's health thing on tv, though, and it looked decent but seemed too heavy on just running.

Nope seeing as i'm in the UK...but I have entered a crossfit strength and power comp 🙂
