This won't happen. It'll basically be saying that the men don't have any responsibility whatsoever if they get a woman pregnant.
Society already says that women have no responsibility if they get pregnant.

A. Woman gets pregnant - takes morning after pill.
B. Woman gets pregnant - gets an abortion that man or taxpayers pay for.
C. Woman gets pregnant - man pays 100% child support plus possible alimony for 18 years or longer. All woman does is spend child support on drugs and change diapers.
D. Woman gets pregnant - man has to marry her. Later figures out what he knew at first - woman is a good lay for a bitch. Then divorces her and pays alimony and child support for eighten years or more. All woman does is spend child support on drugs, change diapers, and bitch about marrying the wrong man.
E. Woman gets pregnant - has child and can't remember which man knocked her up. Woman goes on welfare and ADC. Taxpayers pay for ever. All woman does is spend child support on drugs and change diapers.

See any common thread in those scenerios?

Don't even start the slamming. Been married for 36 years. First child came after five years of marriage. The only time I have drawn any transfer payments was after Camile when the banks were closed and we had to get food stamps - one time! Both daughters through school with no student loans or outside help. Say thanks! I had plenty of friends that got "trapped" into miserable marriages by women that lied about birth control or were too stupid to use it. Saw then suffer for years from one stupid roll in the hay.

Okay...

It takes two to tango.

There is always a risk. No matter what. You gotta realize what you're getting into.

This whole thing is only gonna lower people's opinion of men.
It takes two to tango. How many million times have I heard that. You belong to NOW? Two are only responsible if one isn't lying!

The fvck do we care what women think of men, in general?
They think what they think. Nothing we do has ever changed that. Good point.

You've got to be fvcking kidding me!!! :|

How about you don't have unprotected sex if you don't want a baby? You made a baby, deal with it. Whiny little pussies. Jesus!

This makes me want to get a vasectomy, and I haven't even had sex yet...

That, or I'll always be sure to have a supply of fresh rubbers on hand 🙂
how about male contraception? you could take a pill which renders you a 0% sperm count and is completely reversible. google the info. the trials are very promising.

and THAT would solve this whole issue. 🙂

Putting the onus of responsibility on the woman in equal portions to the man with legal remedies for fraud would solve the whole issue and be fair for the first time in history.

That would be good for commited couples and married people. But I see difficulties for single dating people, I guess the ladies will have to start packing a sperm count test kit. I can hear it now HE, "I took my pills! I swear" SHE, "Okay, just put a little in this test tube here and let me check it out"

For most people on this board, being sexually active means having to wash your hands. No rubbers necessary.

@moshquerade: Don't worry... I intend on taking birth control very seriously. I wouldn't want to have an unwanted pregnancy on my hands :Q
