umm since when did it become manly to drink a light (read as "diet") beer? What the holy fratboy hell is happening to this country. Makes me sad. Soon it will be manly to fallow the newest fashions instead of sports. Skys will fall, babies will die, ANARCHY!

I don't get the square table thing.

Did I miss yet another new hip thing?

I'm a Bourbon man, myself. If I must drink beer, it will typically be a quality imported beer; usually a German beer. Fosters is good though, too.

The only American beer I will drink is Samuel Adams. I likes me the Sam Adams.

ehh I would think a normal beer would be more manly than a diet beer.

because before you buy a normal beer youre not thinking "o I better watch my figure and drink the worse tasting light beer." wether conciously or not thats the mentality behind a light beer.

im not saying that im saying it seems less manly to be so concerned about your figure that you cant enjoy a normal beer. If you workout or do a physically demanding job, etc. you shouldnt need to watch your carbs, not in your beer atleast.

I don't know about you, but I'd rather not drink a beer which I could eat with a spoon... ie guiness. Some of those dark beers are like motor oil. I'm a fan of sam adams cherry wheat, or bud light, budweisers, absolut.... To each his own!

Guiness is dark in color but light on calories. Get past the opaqueness and it is quite refreshing to drink.

You ever see guys who order Guiness? Most of them aren't very manly. They usually are nerds who think they are beer connoisseurs.

Only a douchebag should be concerned with what type of beer another person is drinking.

Good point, those actually from Ireland don't fit that image but those who aren't generally do. That's why I said "Most"
