4 men arrested in Perrysburg for stealing Romney signs while driving sheet metal union truck

ERRYSBURG -- Perrysburg police arrested four Toledo area men early Friday morning on charges of stealing Mitt Romney campaign signs in Wood and Lucas counties in Northwest Ohio.

The signs were found in a pickup truck owned by Sheet Metal Workers International, Union Local 33 in Parma, according to the police report.

Many of the signs -- some measuring as large as 4 feet by 8 feet -- were believed to have been put up by members of Northwest Ohio Conservative Coalition, said John McAvoy, the group's president.

Union criminals are union thugs. The state should use RICO laws to prosecute.

No, they were interfering with the political speech of the people that bought and paid for the signs and the placement of the signs. It's suppression of dissent by the union and needs to be prosecuted as such by the authorities.
 
You do understand the Free Speech is your right to say something and not get in trouble for it?

So there is a union conspiracy to steal Romney signs?

The only difference between what's happening here and the NYT article I posted is that these individuals got caught stealing. Just because they were caught in a 'union truck' doesn't mean that they were acting on behalf of the union or that the union is involved in some grand conspiracy, but don't let logic stand in the way of a good union-bashing circle-jerk.

And if on the off-chance that the union is actually behind this, prosecute them too.
 
This is so fucking ridiculous. Those union guys were out to protect the Romney voters from the riots that will happen on election night if Romney wins.
 
When you vote for Obama at least you know what you are voting for...with Romney it's like throwing darts at balloon while blindfolded.
