memtest86

there's a heading in memtest86 called 'pass' . I ran my memtest86, went to eat lunch, then came back and saw a '1' under the 'pass' column. What does that mean?

The number of times it goes through all the tests without any errors is shown under pass. The number of errors is also shown.
If you are testing the stability of your RAM, you should run it overnight and you should have no errors.

Also turn cache on and select all test including the extended ones....Let run for a good 8-10 hours and that should get 15-20 passes in...

This is far more thorough then prime95 is for detecting ram errors...
