Memtest86 or GoldMemory

On my system, Goldmemory reports lot of errors in my RAM, but while using Memtest86, i get no errors.
So tell me guys, how can this be ?
Is memtest failing to detect errors or is goldmemory misreporting.

And one more thing, the memory bandwidth reported by memtest86 is 516MB/S .Is it okay ?
My system specs are
AthlonXP 2100+
MSI KM400 Motherboard which has single channel controller
1024 MB of generic RAM @ DDR266 speed and 3-3-3-7 timings

Goldmemory has always been better in my opinion. It's able to detect errors that memtest can't see.

I've always used memtest because it is built in to the DFI bios.

I have actually never heard of goldmemory before, and always just used memtest.

it is?! hmm more incentive to get a DFI board.

i'll have to check out goldmemory though... i havent used it yet.
