Memtest86+ and SuperPi 32M

put mem test on a floopy or even a CDRW and pop it in and select boot from CD when it asks.

EDIT: forgot to mention a usb drive will work if ur mobo supports it

I put Memtest86+ on a CD and then set the BIOS to boot from CD but when I turned the PC on it tried to boot from the CD drive but nothing happened and then it loaded up windows.

What should I do??

Memtest doesn't work for me. I have a stick of ram that causes every computer it's put in, to crash. But, when I run a test on it, no errors.

1: Download the Memtest86 v3.2 ISO Image (zip) file from the link above and save it to your desktop.

2: Extract the downloaded zip file and you'll get this file memtest86-3.2.iso.

3: Burn the memtest86-3.2.iso to a cd using nero, and it will make a bootable cd with memtest86 on it.

Ryder401, did you just copy the file to a cd, or burn it as an image? You have to burn as an image, not just copy over.

I now have memtest86-3.2.iso on a CD, so I went in to the BIOS and set CD ROM drive to the 1st boot drive and restarted the computer with the CD in but it just tried to boot from the CD and nothing happened so it loaded up windows from the Hard Drive.

What should I do???
