Memtest86 and nforce2

I have a P4S533 motherboard that I am running at 145 FSB. Under memtest86, it shows as:
Memory 512M 1192MB/s

On my nforce2 board (ASUS A7N8X) running at 150 FSB it shows as:
Memory 512M 595MB/s

Is this just an AMD vs Intel issue, or do I have some settings set completely wrong? Also, the P4S533 board scores higher on the memory test of PCMark2002 (5100 vs 4100)
