how long am i supposed to let this run?? its been going for almost 2 hours. does it stop? or is it if it goes for X amount of time my ram is fine?

It'll go on forever if you don't stop it yourself.

I generally let it loop 10 times. Sometimes more with a new stick of RAM.

let it run for two or three full passes. also download the free Microsoft memory tester. Somehow it tests differently from memtest and can catch different failure modes - good idea to run both if system is acting flaky.

well it went fine for 10 with no errors i guess its good. they sys isnt flacky but someone said i shoudl test it anyway read my issues here
