memtest without hard drive?

I was wondering if it would be possible to boot to memtest on my computer without a hard drive just to test the ram or would i have to have a hard drive installed. thanks in advance

Make a bootable ISO (memtest has the instructions on their website).

Memtest does not require a hard disk.
