Memtest 86

How much memory do you test when you run memtest86? I have 512mb of crucial ddr ram. It takes a long time right? How long does it usually take?

lol....if you run all tests...plan to leave your computer running for a couple of days. After about a day i got tired of waiting and terminated the tests haha

I have 1GB of RAM and a 1.4GHz Athlon. It takes just over 1 hour to run a loop of the default tests.

so i should just run the default tests and leave out the extra tests? Will that be enough to find out errors?

I think the default tests are good enough.
