Memtest 86 Help

I downloaded the precompiled version of memtest. It gives me three files when I extract it.

Install.bat
Memtest.bin
rawrite.exe
readme.txt

Now, it says I can boot using a CD if i download this iso file and boot from cd

I did that, and burned that iso file to the cd, now it says something on the website that i need to make it an image file, what is that, and how do i do that. From there, what do i do, just boot with that file i downloaded, or any of those things above

Basically, i'm just not sure how to get it working from a cd.

Go here and download the bootable ISO or get it straight from here.

Extract the ISO file from the archive, then open Nero Burning ROM or whatever burning program you use, open the ISO and burn it.

Just to clarify. Do not create a disk with the ISO image as a file, but burn the ISO image. In nero there is an "Burn ISO Image" (or something similar) item in the File menu. Use that menu item and select the .iso file you downloaded when the file dialog comes up.

anyone know how to do it with windows burning?

after that, do i boot from that cd?

what about those other files that i downloaded (listed at top).

point to the ISO file and go. I have tried it on several burners without a
problem. Best of all, it is free with no ads and now expiry.

BTW. Don't use a CD-RW as not all CD drives will boot from them.
