Memoryy fot Amd Athlon64

A64's aren't bandwidth hungry like P4's, and the on die memory controller makes the mem latencies not as important either, so just go with some corsair value ram, and you'll be good to go.

I need 2x512. i`m from romania so i won`t buy from newegg 🙂. anyway i found 2x512 ocz premier series at 2x100$ or 2x512 geil avlue series at 2x85$. Here memory is much more expensive
PS:Sorry for the title...old keyboard 🙁

I too have 2 sticks of geil memory, but I bought them for much more then 2*85$.
Do anyone had any experience overclocking with geil value memory?
@NetDevil, where are you from Romania, I was born there. 🙂

Check out the Hot Deals forum for this week's NewEgg specials.....

With the promo code of "NewSave10" you get $10 off that Corsair memory.

But here are my noob questions:

Can you run this memory in dual channel?

Or do you have to have something that says "Dual Channel" like this?:

Other than having a 3 CAS latency (vs 2.5) , having "Dual Channel" in the name, and being $10 more (really $20 if you use the promo code), I don't see a difference in these memories.

What am I missing? I'm looking for cheap memory to put in a yet-to-be determined NForce 4 Ultra mobo.
