Hi,
The difference between 680 and 650 memory wise is that 680 has support for EEP memory <=1200, but 650i is <=800 right?
So will 650i be able to run memory that is say 1000? It just does not have eep support right? So that means I have to tweak myself.

The benefit of EPP support is that you don't have to adjust and tweak the memory yourself, it's spec'd to run at 1200MHz if both components support it. With a 650i mobo, you should be able to OC up to whatever the memory's rated speed is, but it's not a guarantee of speed like EPP is.

Wait....so you are saying EEP is like an Auto overclock? So EEP ram is actually 800Mhz for say PC-8000, but if you have a 680i Mobo it will overclock it automatically to 1000Mhz?

EPP is just marchitecture. I'm pretty sure you have to go into the BIOS and enable EPP anyways. You might as well just change the ram speed in the BIOS.

Kind of makes since my DDR1066 shows up in CPU-Z as DDR800 With the speed of 533 5.5.5.12 T2...

Interesting...well in that case I'll keep my pc-6400 patriots...
