Please help me to choosing one. I wanna buy a new system (CPU: E6300, Motherboard: Gigabyte-S3, VGA: MSI-7600GS) but I don't know which ram is better. the performance is important for me.

I wanna do a little Ocing, but only with stock cooling. I know if I have a 800 Mhz ram I can do it but it's my main question: If the performance is my purpose which one is better have a just one gigabyte 800 Mhz memory or have 2 GB of 533 memory?

If you need 2GB then you must go with 2GB at 533.

But if you don't need 2GB then 1GB at 800 is better.

Reason: if you don't have enough RAM the the machine will stop dead. But once you have enuogh more is of no benefit at all.

the amoount of RAM you need depends on teh software you load (not install - actually load up and run). Only you know whether 1GB is enough.

What about buying 1 GB at 800 and if I need more buy another one? Can I use dual channel in this mode?
