Hi people

Am a bit stuck on which make of ram to purchase.

Do I get 1Gig of Crosair PC3200 memory for £240 or 1Gig of crucialpc3200 for £128?

How come the price is so different? I understnad that Crosair in "the" memory to have at the moment and looks nice with its heat sinks but its double the price! Is it really worth it? Probably wont be overclocking, just games n stuff.

I have two motherboards that I am purchasing memory for:

Abit KD7-Raid - KT400 chipset
MSI K7N2G - Nforce2 chipset

Thanks very much

Well corsair is kind of catering to the overclockers. Like you said it comes with the cool looking ramsinks. Crucial however is just gonna be plane jane ram. I do believe that the crucial is also cl3 as opposed to cl2 for the corsair. So the corsair is gonna be a little faster. I have had some compatibility problems in the past with corsair and epox, but none to speak of with crucial. If you aren't going to be overclocking, then I'd say no, it's not worth it. ^^
