Memory voltage, QVL, and stability questions

I have 4GB of Corsair 1600MHz DDR3 dual-channel RAM (2x2GB). I don't have the package in front of my right now, and so I don't know the timings/model #, but the RAM is rated at 1.65 V. My mobo is an Asus P8P67 PRO.

A few questions, if you don't mind:

1) If the RAM is not on the Asus mobo QVL, can I still use it?

2) I am not overclocking, and so I have just left the RAM configuration on the default "Auto" setting in the BIOS. The voltage by default runs at 1.5 V, not 1.65 V. I am running the RAM at 1333 MHz, which is slower than the rated speed of 1600 MHz. Is this undervolting a concern?

3) I ran MemTest86+ for a few runs, and got no errors. Is this RAM stable?

Thanks folks!

1) most likely. Appearing on the QVL just means that Asus has tested the RAM with your motherboard. However, as long as Asus and the RAM manufacturer have followed the standards you should have no problems.
2) I wouldn't worry. Your RAM probably needs 1.65v to run at 1600MHz but can run fine at 1.5v at 1333MHz. Each RAM module has sets of settings that your motherboard can read. There is a program called CPUID that you can download which will shows these to you. Probably your motherboard has found an appropriate set of settings for your RAM.
3) MemTest can only prove that your RAM is faulty. If MemTest detected no errors, either your RAM is working fine or MemTest did not encounter a situation where errors will occur. However, you do have evidence that your RAM is stable. So far all intents and purposes, I would not worry. You can let memtest run overnight if it will make you feel better.

Thanks Vincent.

I have run MemTest for about 5 passes on each individual RAM module, and then overnight on both modules in a dual-channel config. No errors so far. Anything else I need to check, or does the memory seem OK?

Especially since you've run memtest overnight with both modules in dual-channel mode, I would be satisfied that the memory is working properly.
