Does anyone know of a utility I can download that can identify the characteristics (type, speed, CAS, etc.) of memory sticks installed in a system? I have serveral 184 DIMMS and I'd like to figure out which would be the best ones to use in my systems.

Thanks!

Eventually search for CPU-Z..

It also has a detailed and simplified information on memory modules, cpu and mobo..

But the link posted above from "wpshooter" is also brilliant

I vote for CPU-Z since it's only a few hundred kb. Everest stands out from the other system info utilities, but I just don't like how it lags my music/TV.

If you're talking about Everest, you can d/l EVEREST Free Edition 2.20 - but Lavalys did discontinue the free edition, so this app is "unsupported".
