memory upgrade?

okay, I just ordered up a new 6600gt video card. I have some extra $ to spend but don't know exactly where to spend it or if it is even worth upgrading anything else on my yesterday machine.
p4 2.8 (northwood)
1g ddr2700
40g hd
6600gt video

I was wondering if fast memory would help or if I should just start saving pennies again and do a rebuild down the road. Any suggestions would be great. I have around $175 to kill. Thanks

buying faster memory is really only going to make a difference if you are going to be overclocking your computer (setting the FSB faster than the stock setting) So if you are wanting to begin experimenting with that, then faster RAM would be almost a 'must'.

Otherwise, I'd put the pennies in the bank until you are ready to go for a new motherboard and CPU
