Memory Upgrade Question

I just purchased 2X1GB of memory to upgrade my DELL XPS that came with 2X512.

The original memory was 533MHz, and the new pair is 667MHz. Should I run 2 pairs (total 3GB) at 533MHz, or stick with 2GB while leaving out the slow original sticks until I need the extra GB (when I upgrade to Vista)?

Unfortunately, since this came from Dell, the motherboard/BIOS is locked and I cannot overclock.
