Memory Upgrade question?

My pc is runs pretty smoothe until i fill the memory from multitasking or heavy gaming, then the HD starts crunching. So I need a memory upgrade! Currenly I have two corsair 256 sticks with CL 2 pc-3200. Link
My MB (k8v SE deluxe by ASUS) manual says that a third stick of ram will force the bus speeds down to 333 with 3 single sided sticks and even slower with double sided. I was thinking of getting another stick of corsair 512 with the same timings and just have the bus bumped down. Has anyone had an experience with a similar memory upgrade? What would you suggest?

Also, I would sell off my xms sticks and just go with two 512 sticks if the opportunity came up.
 
Prices went down, so you can get 2x512mb sticks for around $100 right now, that would probably be the best way to go.
 
yah, I guess I might as well do that since prices have dropped. I just hate to waste 2 really good sticks of memory.
