Memory upgade question

I need some help here?

I need to upgrade memory on my Dell Dim 4600 P4 computer for running Photo Shop CS2. I have 512 now but would like to go to 1 or 2gb?

I'm looking at the following:

Corsair XMS 1GB (2-512) 184 DDR SDRAM PCC3200

or

Corsair XMS 2GB (2X1GB) 184 pin DDR SDRAM PC3200

So are these good options?
Will they work in my 4600?
What is the timing stuff and should I worry about the timming?
Any other recommendations?

My suggestion would be to go to the Dell website and see what memory is recommended for your system or even better give Dell a telephone call to see what they recommend, might want to do both to see that you get a consistent answer.

Go to www.crucial.com. They have a place where you can type in your computer info, and it will tell you exactly what you need. Never a problem with Crucial.

Yeah, go to crucial if you're not sure. Dell will make you buy their overpriced and probably underperforming memory.

I'll go to Crucial....Just like you said I figured that I could do better than Dell... they are way over priced!!
