memory update question

I plan to buy a Dell 8100 with
Memory: 128MB,SDRAM,133M,2DIMM
1) does that mean there are 2 64MB at two slots?
2)If it does, could I remove one of them, and buy one 256 from crucial? would it work properly?
Thanks for your idea.

It might mean there are 2DIMM slots on the motherboard.

But who knows if dell decided to go with the cheaper (2 64MB DIMMS = 128MB)
Or the I'm-thinking-of-the-consumer's-future-upgrade-needs way (1 128MB DIMMS = 128MB)
