Memory underclocking and lower timings.

This is my first time overclocking and I'm a bit confused about how overclocking interacts with memory. My system is the same as in my sig. I am currently overclocking my E5200 @ 3.12. In order to do this I had to underclock my memory and it is running in 5:6 Fsb:Dram @ 300 Mhz with timings of 5-5-5-15 according to CPU-Z. Is it possible to lower my timings to 4-4-4-10, at this lower frequency?

Probably something close to that, every board/ram combo is different, and G.Skill has a lot of different PC2-6400 sets.

Set RAM voltage @ 2.1v and timings to 4-4-4-15 to start. Try increasing the MCH a tad if you need to. If everything goes well the first time around, try to get a lower voltage, 4-4-4-12, etc.

My ram voltage range according to the g.skill website is 1.8v-1.9v. I read that it is not a good idea to overvolt ram. Also this is my Memory. .

It's also not a good idea to overclock your processor if you're worried about things like that.

Overclocking is always a risk. If you're not prepared for consequences, don't do it.
