I ordered a stick of 512MB pc3200 Corsair xms memory from newegg last week. On the webpage, it says this:
"CAS Latency 2-3-3-6-T1"
And under my BIOS in the 8RDA+ it lists 4 different numbers, but those numbers are different than what newegg says. I can't alter these numbers unless I set the system performance to expert. The BIOS reads something like this (The numbers might not be exactly right, but I'm too lazy to restart and check the BIOS and type this over again):
T (RAS): 9
T (RCD): 3
T (RP): 3
CAS Latency: 2.5
So my questions is.. do the numbers on newegg match up with these numbers? Like should my BIOS look like this:
T (RAS): 6
T (RCD): 3
T (RP: 3
CAS Latency: 2
Also, are lower numbers better? I assume those numbers are in ms. If I was to overclock, which numbers would I change?
You guys answered all my other stuff lightning fast... Best tech support on the web.
Thanks
