Hi I have, Kingston HyperX 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM ECC Registered DDR 400 (PC 3200) Dual Channel Kit System Memory with the timings 2-3-2-6. I'm not sure if i have set this up correctly in my bios, on my ASUS AN8-SLI Premium motherboard. Can anyone here give me the exact settings that would make this RAM run at its optimum speed? Because there are way more than 4 timings in the options to adjust and im not sure which is the best.. Thanks a lot.

Set it to SPD since those are pretty tight timings already.

SPD, doesnt give it the correct timing settings. It puts them at a slower speed then its capable of. Ive had to change them to 2-3-2-6.

Yeah there definitely is a problem wiht the timings I have now. BF2 now skips when i play and I get the error: System too low on resources to create picture. So soemthing has to be wrong. Any idea? Putting the settings at Automatic, doesnt take advantage of the full capabilities of my RAM. Can anyone tell me what I should put in all the settings under DRAM configuration for an ASUS A8N-SLI Premium motherboard with the ram ive stated above?

ECC RAM Error Correction Code or something similar. Its mostly used in servers where ECC Ram would be a safer bet than "normal" ram.

You can test your timings with memtest86.... (It shows your bandwidth while running)

I have the same ram (non-ECC) on an NForce2 board and it runs best @ 2,3,2,11.
