I have heard that the command rate is one of the most significant numbers in the timings. What is the real world, ie, fps in games difference between 1T and 2T memory? Any forwards to articles would be appreciated.

The difference will be unnoticable; we're talking at the most, 2FPS (most likely, a LOT less).

Actually, you can't lay out a general notion of CPC's effects on performance. It has more impact in certain apps than others. On average it can be worth anywhere between 20 and 40MHz in FSB. For sure it is the most important timing, but subsequently it has the most effect on stability, especially with double-banked memory. Whether it's worth it is up to your personal testing.
