I just wanted to give a heads up to my fellow Anandtechers. I recently went through hell trying to figure out what was causing my wifes computer to screw up so bad. It was freezing,blue screening,and all that. A fellow poster9RickH) gave me this link:http://www.aha.ru/~alegr/download/memtest_en.htm It turned out to be bad ram after all. It's nice to have finally tracked it down,after hours of reinstalls,and scandisks. If you are having any computer anomolies,and alot of us are,give this test a shot overnight.
