Are all DDR SDRAM motherboards backward compatiable with PC100/133 SDRAM?

No. There are very few mobos that can take either type - the sockets are different. MSI KM2M Combo-L, KT2 Combo-L, a few ECS mobos, etc. have both types of sockets.
