Hi,

I have one stick of DDR400 ram on my mobo. It's currently running at 200mhz. Is that right or should it be running at 400mhz?

Thanks.

Where is it showing up at 200 mhz? while posting or in the bios.
It should show as 400 in the post and bios.
If you were running in dual channel mode ( 2 identical sticks )
it would show 200mhz in the bios and 400 while posting.
I run ddr400 in dual channel and thats what i show.

It shows 200mhz in both BIOS and in post. Im running one stick and it loads as 200mhz singlechannel mode. Should or can this be running at 400mhz

Yes it should. if it didn't support ddr400 than your computer would not boot.
Try setting the memory to spd in the bios.
