i bought some

CORSAIR Vengeance 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9

my problem is that, anytime i set the memory timings in the bios, it stays at 1333mhz speed...ASUS M5A88-V EVO is the motherboard....the timings are 24-9-9-9...in the bios, the settings are auto, or choose your timings...i see no spd
