Memory Speed and the FSB

three quick questions:

1. is there any harm in running with an FSB greater than your RAM's speed?

2. is there any harm in running with an FSB less than your RAM's speed?

3. is there any harm in running 2 sticks of RAM whose speed do not match?
 
1) not really, worst that'll happen is system instability
2) no
3) no, but if you're trying to run one faster than it's rated for, see 1)
 
1) If you are using a P4 or Athlon XP you will lose some performance. If you are using an A64 you will lose like 1-2% performance.
2) Same as 1
3) No, but the memory will run at the slowest sticks speed

1. If your RAM speed is synchronous with your FSB, then you are overclocking your RAM. It can cause a problem.
