If I have a motherboard that is running at 533FSB, wouldn't it be advantageous to run PC4200 (DDR533) instead of PC2700 (DDR333) or PC3200 (DDR400)? Also, can you run two sticks of PC4200 in dual channel mode if they don't specifically say they are made for dual channel?

There would be no advantage running DDR533 on that machine since your 533FSB is 133x4. Yes, you can run two sticks in dual channel mode though for better stability it is always best to get a matched pair.
