okay guys, few weeks ago, I bought a new case, and when I moved all my hardware in the case, there was a short happening (later till i fixed it), now when i try to put the 2 sticks of ram in the board, the computer won't boot, it will only boot when i have one stick at the same place, no matter where I try to put the other memory, the computer won't boot. I am also getting this msg at startup <cpuid:0fc0>, I dunno whats happening here, but I am pretty sure the board is defective now. I tried to stick in different types of ram, same result. IT will only boot when there is one stick of ram. thx

Here's a bump for you. But I'm guessing your mem controller or DIMM slot is FUBAR'd.
