memory slot malfunction

the problem is that i accidently installed a memory ram into opposite way so that it burned the memory ram pins. i pulled out quickly and restarted the cpu. it posted but forced to go to bios to fix the cpu thing that i couldn't understand why i had to fix cpu specifications even the memory slot went bad. (i went on to replace with popular abit nf7-s rev. 2.)

is there any ways i can revive this board? it happened in spring '05 and i still have it. 😱

it'd be nice to bring old motherboard back.
