Memory size limit of MSI 694D Pro

hi, i have some confusion about what kind of memory i can put in my MSI 694D Pro. when i read the manual, the Mainboard Spec said that it support 8 banks up to 2 GB of DRAM at 100Mhz or 1.5GB of 133Mhz. that's 3 DIMM according to that. And then i read the memory installation section. According to that the mainboard supports a maximum memory size of 512MB registered DIMM for SDRAM. so i am confused. which one is right? and for registerd ram it can only go up to 512mb is that mean if i put in unregister ram i can to up to 1.5Gig? and which brand and what configuration should i choose? thanks a lot for helping me out.
