There are a lot of choices out there for memory and I don't have the time to research them all. I'm hoping that someone here can just give me a good suggestion.

I have a A8N-E board and a new 3200+ cpu. what I need is a gig or two of memory to go with it. Any thoughts. something fast and compatible.

thanks

Basically, any name brand Value RAM should be only a few % behind expensive RAM, especially if you are not OCing.
edit: thats 939, right? If so, get 2 of the same sticks, because you need dual channel.

get some ocz platinum revision 2 pc3200 TCC5. you will most likely keep 1:1 all the time. but, if you read the memory matrix thread at the top of the forum, expensive ram is definately not worth it, but if you must...

So this is what I'm punching the button on:

Corsair TWINX1024-3200C2 DDR 400MHz 1024MB (PC 3200) Memory for Dual Channel Motherboard

$127 for 1GB

I hope it's good

i dunno.. i'd personal prefer tccd over tcc5 from what i've read...

the newer ocz pc3200 rev2 plat is mostly tcc5... at least from what i've read... newegg has it for about $174

this is the memory i have...
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145550

but i got it for a steal cuz i bought it used ($185)... runs ddr624 or 312htt 1:1 with 2.8 volts and 2.5-4-4-8 timing... and it's fast!
