Ok i just got screwed over w/ my epox 8k7a+, i had 512 megs (2x256) of micron ddr 2100, but its pretty evident that one stick is bad. When its in the computer crashes regularly, and when its out im fine...so im thinking of replacing it...my questions are
should i go with crucial?...and if so ECC or non ECC?!?!. does it matter, help imporove anyhting?...I was also thinking of getiing a 512 ( only 2 slots) and leaving a free one, or mix in my current micron stick...any ideas...i wan to keep this all under about 60.

good questions valiant.

I was also wondering about ECC vs. non-parity. Does it matter?

You take a slight performance hit with Registered memory of which ECC is. Unless you need it for a mission criticial server, pass on it.
