Can PC133 be mixed in with PC100 ? I am looking at a compaq computer for a friend and she bought memory for another computer and got 128mb of PC133 memory free with the purchase. The compaq is using PC100. Can I put the PC133 in and does the location make a difference. I think it only has like
64mb of RAM now.

Chances are it will work fine, but it will only run at 100MHz.

Compaqs are known for somethimes being very picky with their RAM, but there will be no harm in trying it.
